Site Selection
Site selection is an extremely important factor in operating a great franchise unit. Helping you identify
the appropriate location is a top priority. We will provide you with detailed guidelines for choosing your
site, and will carefully evaluate your proposed site before approving a final location.
Training
Our superior franchisee training provides in-depth information on the key areas of TailWaggers Doggy
Daycare® operations. For three weeks you will attend hands-on training at our facility in Menasha,
Wisconsin. Working with the dogs in daycare you will learn about dog behavior and handling. You will
learn about the proper tools and products needed to keep your facility safe and clean. We will show you
how to use our proprietary software to manage your dog daycare, boarding and grooming clients. Additional
training will include the topics of sales and marketing, customer service, HR, finance and more. In addition
to the training that will take place at our facility in Wisconsin, we will be onsite at your location to
assist you with your grand opening – before, during and after the event. Periodic visits from our franchise
representative will provide operational assistance and guidance in various areas of the TailWaggers Doggy
Daycare® business system.
Marketing Assistance
We will coordinate the development of advertising materials and strategies for all members of our franchise
family, including expert consumer marketing plans and professional materials for your use. These marketing
materials include brochures, advertisements, press releases, newsletters and many more print publications to
help you promote your facility under the established TailWaggers Doggy Daycare® brand, trademarks and logos.
Operational Support
We will continue to share information with you well past your training, providing ongoing support to your
business. The lines of communication will always be open – we are just a phone call or an e-mail away.
We will be there to offer advice and suggestions on all issues including marketing ideas, customer service
inquiries, employee management and more. All franchisees will receive a TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®
Operations Manual that contains detailed information on policies, procedures, and standards to aid franchisees
in the maintaining and growing their TailWaggers Doggy Daycare® franchise business.
Website Development
Because we serve a sophisticated, web savvy clientele your website will be a vital part of serving your current
customers and attracting new ones. Our visually pleasing and user friendly websites are designed to help
promote the TailWaggers Doggy Daycare® brand. The websites provide information about the many services
available at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®. Customers will be able to download evaluation forms and applications,
view your personalized photo gallery and learn more about you and your facility.
