Please let everyone there know what a wonderful experience we and our pups had at TailWaggers! We knew the minute we walked in that they were at a place that cared about dogs and their owners and would take very good care of our babies. Barclay and Cutie came back to us that evening perky and happy… and worn out. Cutie is our rescue girl, and she will be the first to demonstrate in behavior if she is not treated kindly. She was so alert and carefree that I knew she received the best care ever. I wish you guys were here in the cities so we could use you all the time! We are already planning to use you for boarding when we go to the yearly family reunion in Door County. We will be in touch. Thank you so much!

I am Sam the German Shepherd's mom and I just want to say I think you all are wonderful! Sam was very scared of other dogs when he was a puppy and since he's been at daycare, he's become a really social (and very silly) dog.

We have an older Sheltie who really doesn't want to play with young Sam so it's great he can wear off energy with other dogs.

I also really appreciate the personal touch. I love how you all recognize Sam when he comes in and don't mind the fact that he charges behind the counter in his exuberance to get into the daycare by all of his pals. It's so neat how you know so much about him - like hiding the Kongs when he's there :-)

We're going to Florida next week and Sam will be at Tailwaggers. I am so relieved to know that he is going to have fun and be well cared for while we are gone. He probably won't want to come home with us at the end of the week!

Thank you again, you provide a great service for our family!

I want to tell you a huge "THANK YOU!" for being a lifesaver to me (and to my parents)! When my parents rescued me from the Humane society in Green Bay about a month ago, they didn’t know much about me. I was a stray. I was about a year old (maybe younger – no one knows for sure and I’m not telling!). I had obviously been someone’s pet before because I was housetrained and knew how to play fetch. My new parents couldn’t believe that someone wasn’t missing me!

As soon as I got to my new home in Appleton, I started to wonder if my new parents were OK when they left me alone. I had a lot of separation anxiety because I thought that when they were out of my sight, they might be in trouble.

My mind went into a "search and rescue" mode! The first time I was left alone, I broke down two baby gates to get into the rest of the house so I could look for them!

The first time I was left alone in a plastic crate, I missed them so much that I broke my tooth in an effort to get the wire door undone (I did it!) so I could search for them.

When they put a new door between the kitchen and the dining room so I could relax in there all day, I tore down the curtains, jumped up on the sink and broke the faucet, knocked down everything on the counter (including a glass, serving dish and knives ... lots of sharp things that could hurt me!) in my effort to find them. I was a mess!

My parents knew it wasn’t safe for me to be home alone in my panicked state. They started calling around for Doggy daycares. Some seemed really expensive. Some didn’t have much human or other dog interaction. They took me to the vet, got all my shots and some short-term meds to relax me, and then found out about TailWaggers!

Mom called and was really impressed with how friendly you seemed. Dad brought me in the next day and I fell in love with all my new friends and the staff! You literally were my "lifesavers"!

Now the only window I want to jump up on is the car window – so I can get out and play!

My parents are thrilled that I have so much fun with my friends. I come home from daycare and do nothing but sleep!

I’m much more adjusted to my house and I have a new wire crate that I really like. I had some in-home training so I’m pretty relaxed when I’m at home by myself now... but my parents still plan to bring me to TailWaggers twice a week until mom’s school is out. Then I’ll be home most of the summer with my mom – but I’m sure I’ll still drop by once or twice a week so I can hang out with all of you!

Thank You!!!

Bucky Johnson (Todd and Tanya too!)

TailWaggers Staff -- Thank you so much for taking care of Archie while I was on vacation! It was such a relief to know he was in "good hands" ... you guys are the best!

Tara, Joan, Tammy, Luanne, and all the TailWaggers staff,

You have been such a lifesaver for our whole family. The kindness you have shown all of us will never be forgotten. I drop off my babies with complete confidence that they are in good hands at all times. There is no way I could truly show my gratitude for all you do. Daisy and Cubby just love it there. All I say is "daycare" or " want to go see Tara, Joan, or Tammy" and they go bonkers. Just like kids my husband and I spell a lot to avoid excitement when talking about future days. I just can't thank all of you enough. Not only for opening a place for Daisy and Cubby to play and enjoy but for being such wonderful people.

Thanks!

Love, Daisy May, Cubby, John & Melissa

Hi there!

This is Sophie S.'s dad here. Just writing a quick note to say "thank you" for everything you do for the dogs that come to play. Our Sophie goes crazy when she knows we're going to daycare. All it usually takes is for me to grab her leash in the morning before we go outside. You should see the way her eyes get huge, and how she starts dancing and running and bouncing, because she knows it's daycare day! She gets so excited she doesn't even want to go do her "business" before we head out. Even just saying the word "daycare" on non-daycare days gets her attention, she cocks her head because she knows the word. She really loves to be at daycare; she loves to be able to run around and work out her energy with other dogs. We also love the way everyone at daycare seems to know Sophie and is happy to see her too (even though Sophie sometimes gets a little "too" excited about showing how happy she is by jumping on people and standing up to look over the counter...). We really appreciate being able to check in on her during the day with the doggycams, it brings a huge grin to our faces when we see Sophie scamper across the screen, or see her up on the "bridge" getting pets (we assume she barges her way into the petter's lap, like she does at home to get pets). It's such a great service you folks offer. Doggy daycare has been such a wonderful experience and great help for us, and we thank you for letting us continue to let Sophie visit her buddies (canine and human) at daycare!

Sincerely,

Kevin Schultz

Dear Joan,

Thank you! Thank you! We are heading out of town this weekend on a last minute trip. I called to find out if you had an opening for Rudy tomorrow and into Sunday. You were booked, but suggested that I call back this afternoon to see if you had any cancellations. I called back this afternoon and you did not have any cancellations. So I went ahead and started calling around to other kennels in the Appleton Area. One was no longer open, the other was and had an opening, and only $12 for an overnight! WOW! Well, that does not include play time, we would have had to pay $3 for every 15 minutes "or so" for that. The rest of the time he would be crated in a kennel. So I called back and spoke with your daughter. I asked her if she had any recommendations for a place similar to yours. She put me on hold (and she felt bad putting me on hold) to talk with you for suggestions. She came back apologizing for me being on hold and said you were still working on it. I was willing to hold as long as I could for your suggestions. She came back and said you did a lot of rearranging for Rudy and he was able to come this weekend. Thanks so much! When he is with you, he is so much happier and so are we. He is always very well taken care of and we do not worry about him. It is easier on our children because they are able to watch him on the internet. He is happy when he comes home, he is tired out when he comes home, and he is not using our carpets as his bathroom because he was in a kennel. Every employee that I have had contact with has been wonderful, they have been nothing but kind and caring to me and Rudy as well. Your employees all seem so happy to be there and you can tell they are having fun. Kudos to you for having such a wonderful business, I am requesting that you open another in Appleton. Again thanks so much for helping us out.

Heidi Heuring (Rudy too!)
